As NEOMED honored 210 of Ohio’s newest physicians, pharmacists and medical professionals during the University’s Commencement, May 21, 2016, at The University of Akron’s E.J. Thomas Performing Arts Center, a single message was made clear to graduates: team-based, patient-centered care is the way to enhance wellness, and the time is now.
Graduates were treated to a heartfelt address by Dr. Akram Boutros, president and chief executive officer, The MetroHealth System, who had received an honorary degree before his speech.
