Guidelines for incoming Student Employees

As global concern about the current COVID-19 outbreak grows, we’re doing our best in minimizing the disruptions of our day-to-day operations here at NEOMED.

Regarding our incoming student employees and our current hiring process we are coming up on a busy time of the year and we are trying our best to keep our departmental operations as normal as possible even while being remote. At this time, we are unfortunately not able to give definite answers on whether we will return to work anytime soon. However, we are aware that department needs differ and we are willing to work with each department in order to get students hired in a timely manner and to try to relieve some stress this may have caused on many individuals. Please note that if you are planning to hire students for the summer, we still ask that Human Resources has a 5-business day lead way for data entry purposes. In certain situations, we may require more notice due to the volume of students being hired at one time. If you are planning on hiring more than one student, please contact me directly so we can plan your specific departmental needs.

We are taking proactive steps in order to conduct business as usual and we are working on a virtual process while ensuring compliance. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to reach out via email or we can also schedule a Zoom meeting if necessary.
