Ms. Heidi Der will be joining the Student Affairs staff as Assistant Director of the Learning Center and Accessibility Services beginning Oct. 1. Heidi will focus on providing all students with accessibility services and supporting students with accommodations. In addition, she will provide academic learning support and advising for College of Pharmacy students.
Heidi holds an M.Ed. in School Psychology, brings with her extensive experience with accommodation services at the high school level, and most recently served as a Curriculum Coordinator for the NEOMED College of Medicine. In that role, Heidi worked with NEOMED clinical sites on M3 and M4 grades as well as coordinated the Prerequisites to the Clinical Curriculum and Applications of Clinical Medicine – Quality Improvement courses.
We are excited to welcome Heidi as she has strong skills with accessibility and with using data to identify at-risk students and improve student performance.
