Important Reminders for NEOMED Medical & Prescription Benefits Effective Jan. 1, 2016

Human resources would like to remind those enrolled in NEOMED medical and prescription benefits effective Jan. 1, 2016 for several items. New Membership ID Card will be mailed to the home address of the employee’s enrolled and will include the changes noted below:
  • Medical plan co-pay changes
  • Rx plan co-pay changes
  • Rx plan provider name change to OptumRx
  • Updated member service number
Prescription Benefit Provider Change resulted from the purchase of Catamaran by OptumRx. For those participating in the Home Delivery of a prescription, the revised mail order form is attached. Other than the co-pay changes and contact information noted on the new membership ID card, no other process changes are involved. Ritzman Pharmacy at NEOMED is the retail pharmacy location currently under construction in the NEW Center. Targeted to open in early February 2016, this location, once operational, will be a practice site that focuses on whole-person health in a collaborative practice environment with other healthcare professionals and the surrounding community offering the following:
  • Prescription and Over-the-Counter (OTC) products
  • Specialty Prescription Services
  • Vaccine Administration
  • Medication Management Services focused on helping patients to make the most effective use of their medications, improve health outcomes, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
