As was announced in The PULSE, an aggressive network infrastructure replacement will occur throughout this summer. The wired network replacement has occurred and we are now turning our attention to the University wireless solution.
To ensure the project proceeds with minimal impact to the community and continues in an expedited manner, the following outage has been scheduled:
This weekend, required wireless network maintenance is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. Saturday, August 10, and continue through 5 p.m. Sunday, August 11. Brief outages can be expected as we complete the transition in each building. Although we do not anticipate that the wireless network will be unavailable across the University during this time, we are structuring the announcement in a precautionary manner so that you may plan accordingly.
This outage will not affect the Village.
