Introduction of new coordinator, Office of the VPAA

The Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs is pleased to welcome Jordan Cinderich, M.Ed., to NEOMED as the new coordinator, Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA). Jordan began his position on Oct. 21 and is located in Suite A-23. The coordinator’s role involves guiding and tracking academic policy and faculty bylaws development and revisions; committee memberships and maintenance of the University Committee Directory; administrative support to multiple standing committees of the university and CAPP committees; and operations, communications and initiatives within the Office of the VPAA.

Jordan is a graduate of Kent State University’s (KSU) master’s degree program in Higher Education Administration and Student Personnel. Since his graduation in 2017, Jordan has been serving as the associate director of campus ministry for Kent’s University Parish Newman Center where he has managed budgets, supported various committees to assure policy compliance, and led student groups to the Texas-Mexico border to learn about the realities of migration across the U.S. southern border. Jordan is fluent in Spanish and has been an instructor for the English as a Second Language Center at KSU.
