Join the Celebration with the Virtual Commencement Ceremony!

We hope you can join the celebration as NEOMED holds its Virtual Commencement Ceremony, set to begin Saturday, May 2, 2020 at 10 a.m.

Celebrate our Class of 2020 graduates who, despite unprecedented challenges, were able to thrive and showcase their preparedness. Complete with pomp and circumstance, the University’s 40th Commencement will include President Langell’s first commencement address, as well as live reactions from students via Zoom as their names are called. Students will be in full regalia as they celebrate together, but in separate locations.

Please note that Amy Acton, M.D. (’90) will not be available to address the graduating class as originally planned, as her role as the director of the Ohio Department of Health during the COVID-19 pandemic requires her full attention.

Please see instructions below on how to view the ceremony:

  • Graduates, NEOMED faculty, staff and students are invited to watch via the Zoom Link (emailed this Friday with instructions for participating). Please mute yourself upon entry to the Zoom session and feel free to chat your congratulations to the graduates!
  • Family, friends, and guests of the graduates are encouraged to watch via the Live Stream Link(one livestream per household to allow for as many viewers as possible).

We look forward to celebrating together as one NEOMED Community!
