Campus Operations is following guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and is cleaning more frequently throughout the campus to help maintain a safe environment.
NEOMED contracts a professional cleaning service, Quality Assured Cleaning (QAC), to provide our daily cleaning/janitorial services. Quality Assured Cleaning uses a microfibers textile system in conjunction with Spartan 106/256 disinfectant. The microfibers alone have an efficiency rate of 99.2% removal. Cleaning staff then saturate and re-clean surfaces with the Spartan 106/256 disinfectant.
QAC will continue to disinfect with special attention to frequently touched surfaces throughout campus, such as door handles, light switches and banisters. NEOMED will address additional disinfecting needs as they arise.
