Congratulations Marcus Julius, M.D. (’94), clinical instructor of diagnostic radiology, on being selected as the faculty recipient of the Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine Award.
Each year, NEOMED students have an opportunity to select a clinical faculty member (M.D. or D.O.) as the recipient of the Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine Award presented by The Arnold P. Gold Foundation. The purpose of this award is to recognize the value of humanism in the delivery of care to patients and their families. The award is presented to a faculty member who best demonstrates the Foundation’s ideals of outstanding compassion in the delivery of care, respect for patients, their families, and healthcare colleagues, as well as demonstrated clinical excellence.
Dr. Julius will be recognized at the NEOMED Virtuous Healer Honor Society Virtual Induction Ceremony on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at 6 p.m. and will provide the ceremony’s keynote address.
