Five years ago, we held our first Giving Day, raising $44,500 for our largest single day of giving ever.
With the support of Huntington Bank, each Giving Day thereafter has surpassed the previous year’s, either breaking records for funds raised or number of donors giving.
And that’s just one part of the story: Giving Day ensures that we hit our annual goal for the Blue Fund, which makes all things possible.
The Blue Fund has raised more than $1.5 million during that time and has helped our comprehensive campaign, Shine On, advance our students, innovation and research, and community health.
At $36 million and counting, Shine On is on its way to its $40 million goal, supporting the great advancements of NEOMED, and making all things sustainable.
On June 6, with the support of the Huntington Bank matching gift challenge, NEOMED’s Giving Day will surpass a $500,000 sum total milestone for its five-year existence … but clearly, the impact has been much larger!
