Jeffrey Moore, M.D., clinical professor of psychiatry, was recently honored as Professional of the Year by the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Summit County. The award is given annually to honor an exemplary professional – someone who takes more risk, works harder, is more caring and thoughtful, and gives more of themself for families and those with mental illness. The NAMI Summit County Board of Directors unanimously voted to recognize Dr. Moore with the honor.
Dr. Moore chairs the Department of Psychiatry at Cleveland Clinic Akron General.
