Former NEOMED employees reunited for the Retirees Association of NEOMED (RAN) annual dinner July 19. The event is held each summer at New Era Restaurant, a Serbian restaurant in Akron that offers many Eastern European specialties.
Following dinner and plenty of reminiscing, the group was treated to a presentation by John Wray, VP of finance at NEOMED. Wray discussed the transformation of NEOMED’s campus over the past few years, as well as the planned and potential additions to a campus that began as a cornfield. Several RAN members remarked at how much the campus has changed since they first began working at NEOMED, and what the advances will mean for the students and local communities.
