Dear NEOMED Community:
Now that we are in our fourth and final phase of returning to campus, visitors and invited guests are now able to return and patronize the NEW Center as well as campus facilities. Please remember that it is incumbent upon you to remind your guests of our campus requirements for self-monitoring, physical distancing, face coverings, hand hygiene and use of spaces and places. All guests and visitors must comply.
All employees and students who host visitors to campus are responsible for sharing the most recent Campus Safety Expectations* in advance of the visit and for enforcement of those expectations with their invited guests.
At this time, the NEOMED reception desk is vacant. The President’s Office is in the process of reviewing candidates who will provide assistance to several individuals including the President while also serving as the point of contact for the University’s visitors who utilize the main entrance.
For the time being, we would like to ask that all employees and students who are expecting visitors meet their guests at the main entrance, or appropriate door, upon their arrival. Currently, Security does not have a badge process established for campus visitors and this will also alleviate traffic within the security lobby.
An announcement will be shared with the University community as soon as the reception area is fully staffed. Until then, please feel free to contact me with any questions.
