The student garden at NEOMED is growing, just as its plants are. Located behind the RGE Building on Bradley Road, the garden has recently been expanded and decorated again. Run by students of Physicians for Social Responsibility, or PSR for short, it has proven to be one of the most rewarding experiences for students.
Currently, Matt DeSanto, an M2, is in charge of the organizing and running the garden. However, this could not be done without the major contributions of Sam Doerle, Maria Libertin, Maleck Saleh and Adnan Raslan, not to mention the many other students who have donated their time and made a huge impact.
Lastly, the grounds crew of campus operations at NEOMED may have had the most remarkable influence. They have been undeniably welcoming and insightful and are always willing to lend a hand or even some tools.
Stop by and help out
Everyone from the NEOMED community is encouraged to stop by the garden to contribute. There are always weeds to pull and flowers to water. We gladly take old tools, materials and storage containers and put them to use, too.
Any general questions, or questions about specific jobs/projects to be done, can be directed to Matt at mdesanto@neomed.edu.
