New Meditation Room Promotes Wellness on Campus

A newly designed meditation room is now located in the Library (L-238). The room is a collaborative effort between the Student Sustainability Organization, the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and the Center for Student Wellness and Counseling Services. Designed to promote wellness and offering a number of options to assist in reducing stress and restoring balance, the meditation room is committed to the mission of wellness at NEOMED.

Features of the room include a heated chair massage pad, light box therapy, waterfall feature, a variety of meditation music, guided-imagery and self-directed biofeedback software to assist with developing relaxation techniques.

Students, faculty and staff are invited to use the room.

Employees please note: The Noon hour is reserved for student use only to accommodate class schedules their and access to these services.
