Nichole Ammon Appointed as Manager of Community-Based and Interprofessional Education (IPE)

I would like to announce that Nichole Ammon has been appointed as the Manager of Community-Based and Interprofessional Education (IPE) in the College of Medicine. Nichole has spent the last year helping to organize interprofessional education initiatives in the curriculum. Her new position represents an expansion of these duties that will be critical to further the evolution and integration of community-based education into our curriculum in 2019 and beyond. In addition to her IPE efforts, Nichole will provide dedicated, faculty-level support to the PACE and community experience programs. Nichole will work closely with the course directors associated with these activities to identify issues and develop strategies for these programs. Course directors will remain in charge of all final curricular decisions and grading around PACE and the community experience, but Nichole will provide support for an integrated vision for IPE and community-based education.

Please join me in congratulating Nichole as she takes on her new role.
