A quick update on pending pharmacy legislation was there for the taking on Friday, May 13, as College of Pharmacy students gave poster presentations on legislative issues outside the Watanakunakorn Auditorium. One group’s topic was House Bill 285, which authorizes pharmacists to dispense multiple refills or prescriptions simultaneously under certain circumstances.
Student research, explained on the poster, showed that patient adherence to 90-day supplies of medicine was 20% higher than with 30-day supplies.
