Portage County Providing Free COVID-19 Testing at NEOMED Nov. 10 and Nov. 12

Free COVID-19 pop-up testing will be available on campus from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, and from noon-4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12. The testing sites will be operated by Visit Healthcare, a health care company focused on emergency response.

Testing will take place in Parking Lot B on the south side of campus.

The testing is free and available to individuals with or without symptoms. Drive-up testing only (no walk-ins); no appointment is needed; no health care provider referral is needed.

Anyone can drive up during the scheduled day and times, but pre-registration is highly recommended prior to arrival at the testing site in order to save time. Visit Healthcare team members will be available on site to provide assistance with lab forms to those without internet or smartphone access.

Testing is made possible through the leadership of the Portage County Commissioners who assigned the CARES Workgroup, in partnership with the Portage County Health District and Portage County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management.

Additional COVID-19 testing will be provided throughout Portage County in November and December. Check the Portage County Health District for additional days, times and locations at portagehealth.net or visithealthcare.com
