Research Matters!

Research at NEOMED is important, not only to the researchers who conduct it, but also to the University’s students—and to the patients they will one day serve. That’s the reason for Research Matters! an online publication from the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP), meant for the whole community.

In this issue, you can read an interview with Vahagn Ohanyan, M.D., Ph.D., to discover how this assistant professor of integrative medical sciences started his own contract research organization—a company that provides a reliable revenue stream in the uncertain world of research funding awards.

Speaking of which, the ORSP has also helpfully supplied links to funding opportunities from federal agencies.

That’s not all. Read on for an update on the REDIzone, a spotlight on ORSP assistant director Amanda Lindsay, a full list of grant awards from the last cycle and more.

Read the Spring 2018 issue.
