On Monday, September 30, 2019, the NEOMED Police Department will be working with the Portage County Sheriff’s Office, Ohio State Highway Patrol, and Portage County Emergency Management Agency to assist Rootstown High School with a state-mandated safety drill. The drill will require the evacuation of all Rootstown High School students from the school to the NEW Center Ballroom.
The drill is scheduled to begin around 9 a.m. You may see a large number of students as well as deputies and troopers on campus so do not be alarmed.
