Scenes from the Class of 2024 College of Medicine White Coat Ceremony

White Coat Ceremonies celebrate an important milestone in the lives of first-year medicine and pharmacy students as they pledge their commitment to their professions and to the health of the patients they will serve.

This year, due to COVID-19 social distancing guidelines, the Class of 2024 College of Medicine White Coat Ceremony was held virtually, Friday, July 24. Students had the opportunity to be coated and celebrate with friends and family in the comfort of their own homes.

Shivani Yerigeri celebrates with her family, including brother Keval Yerigeri, who is a third-year student in the College of Medicine.

Vincent Pham is coated by two fellow College of Medicine students in the Village courtyard.

Michaela Ward is joined by her furry four-legged friend to celebrate the Class of 2024 College of Medicine White Coat Ceremony!
