Staffing Changes in Enrollment Services

The Office of Enrollment Services (ES) is pleased to announce that Jessica Green has recently been promoted from enrollment services specialist to assistant director of admission operations and records. In this new role, Jessica will provide admission-related records and system management, including the overall coordination of all processes related to processing admission applications. Jessica will be responsible for data integrity assurance, the utilization of data standards and operational practices necessary for effective applicant record management, and will also serve as the primary contact for applicant and newly admitted student data requests and report analysis.

Conversely, ES is saddened to announce that Mary Beth Seith, who currently serves as registrar, has decided to leave NEOMED at the end of October. Mary Beth has served the University in a variety of capacities over these last nine years and has been a significant contributor to numerous enrollment initiatives; she will be sorely missed.

Both the specialist and the registrar positions have been advertised and we hope to fill those positions in the coming months.

Meanwhile, Diane Beeman, from Academic Affairs, has graciously agreed to assist us with some of the specialist responsibilities on a part-time temporary basis, effective August 31, while also maintaining her current duties with faculty relations.

Additionally, we’ll be welcoming Ms. Pat Brown Santilli from focusEDU to serve as part-time Interim Registrar, effective October 4. Pat Brown Santilli is a consulting director with focusEDU, a higher education consulting firm that offers expertise in the mission-critical areas of enrollment management and partner with higher education leaders to address institutional challenges by offering assessment and evaluation consulting, national search services and interim leadership appointments. Pat joined focusEDU after retiring from a distinguished and nationally recognized career of almost 40 years as a registrar professional. Pat has served three different institutions over that time, and her last appointment was registrar and dean of Academic Systems at Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts where she worked for 27 years. Pat has extensive knowledge with Ellucian Banner. While at Wheaton College, she was an original member of the tam that implemented Banner, and subsequently responsible for the implementation of Banner degree audit, on-line registration, graduation certification, and also the implementation of a new college curriculum and the processes of integrating program and course approvals into the catalog as well as Banner and degree audit.

Because ES will remain in transition until full-time personnel can be identified, hired and trained for the specialist and registrar positions, we are asking the campus community to direct all information and data requests to the shared email address registrar@neomed.edu in an effort to manage and respond to requests as expediently as possible.

Staff workstation and/or contact updates are noted below:

Jessica Green, assistant director for admission operations, R128, 330.325.6126

James Barrett, director of admission, A102B

Pat Santilli, interim registrar, R130, (phone TBD)

Your patience and understanding as we navigate this staffing challenge is most appreciated!

Thanks everyone!
Heidi Terry, M.A.
