Student wins award from Prevent Blindness Ohio

Please join us in congratulating Ms. Emily Plyler, a student in the Kent State University Biomedical Sciences (BMS) graduate program currently working in the lab of Dr. Sam Crish, who has been awarded the Prevent Blindness Ohio Young Investigator Student Fellowship Award for Female Scholars in Vision Research. She will receive $4,000 to conduct her summer research project entitled, “Amyloid Pathology in Retinal Projection.”
