The NEOMED community stepped up in a major way this Giving Day, as 297 donors contributed a total of $166,165. Both the number of donors and funds raised were record highs for Giving Day.
“These record totals exemplify the generosity and commitment of the NEOMED community,” said Craig Eynon, director of alumni relations and development operations. “These funds help support so many essential functions of campus, and especially to bolster the student experience through scholarships, activities and more. We are extremely appreciative of the tremendous support of all those who helped make the 2021 Giving Day such a success.”
Giving Day was bolstered by Huntington and Drs. John Langell and Sara Whittingham, both donating $150 for each unique donor.
The annual event kicked off on Wednesday, March 10, following a special Campus Update from President Langell, and continued for 24 hours, wrapping up at noon on March 11.
