It's been a year since the COVID-19 virus began to turn our daily lives upside down. While living through a pandemic has not been easy, our community has rallied together to develop innovative programming, compassionate connections, and lasting memories. On Thursday, March 18, Student Service hosted the first and only NEOMED Covie Awards!
With award categories ranging from Best Pet Appearance on Zoom to Pandemic Positivity, participants were able to recognize the individuals who supported our community throughout the past year and the events that grounded us. Awardees shared acceptance speeches and words of congratulations for one another (full list of winners can be found below).
A George the Poet original was shared to commemorate the year of challenge each of us faced.
