The NEOMED community mourns the loss of Sudershan Garg, M.D., who died at home Monday, April 20, at age 81. Nationally recognized for his work in hematology and oncology, Dr. Garg was a longtime NEOMED clinical faculty member who served at Mercy Health-St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.
A resident of the Mahoning Valley, Dr. Garg previously served on the Youngstown State University Board of Trustees, including three years as chair.
