It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the death of one of our very own, Kristine (Kris) Marie Wagner.
Kris passed away, Sunday, Nov. 10, 2019, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Kris served as our Standardized Patient educator in the Wasson Center, where she was known for her wonderful smile and ability to make people comfortable. Before she joined the staff of the Wasson Center in May 2012, she had been a Standardized Patient herself.
Kris is survived by her husband, John, five children, five grandchildren and many more family members and friends.
Her daughter, Emmie Wagner, and sister-in-law, Ellen Wagner, are both curriculum coordinators in the College of Medicine.
Calling hours will be Friday, Nov. 15, 3-7 p.m., and Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, Nov. 16 at 11 a.m., both at Queen of Heaven Church in Green.
