They’re Coming!

The first course for our new medicine and pharmacy Class of 2022 students starts Monday, Aug. 27, but there will be an earlier opportunity to meet them! Approximately 140 first-year students will be on campus Friday, Aug. 24, for Early Bird Orientation so that they can get a head start on completing their matriculation requirements and be ready for class on Monday.

Your department may see higher traffic or you may see a wandering new student on campus. Feel free to assist them with directions or questions as they experience the NEOMED campus for the first time. Students will arrive at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. for basic life support training, to pick up IDs, and to participate in tours, informational sessions and more.

Also, be sure to stop by the New Student Welcome Monday, Aug. 27, from 8 a.m.-8:45 a.m. in the NEW Center Atrium, for coffee and an opportunity to welcome the first-year pharmacy and medicine students.

Thank you for helping to greet our incoming first-year students! Feel free to direct any questions related to Early Bird Orientation and Professional Foundations to Student Affairs, 330.325.6735.
