Three Cheers for NEOMED

In June, the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) delivered great news to NEOMED: It voted to end the College of Medicine’s accreditation with “warning” status and change its status to “full accreditation of the medical education program.”

After years of work by the College and the University community to “Accred the med,” it was time to celebrate.

So, faculty and staff gathered in the courtyard to take a well-deserved breather, appreciate each other’s company, meet some new colleagues, and raise a glass to success.

And it’s worth noting: the next LCME full accreditation survey is not until the 2026-27 year.
