To-Go Bags provided to Students for Destress Fest and Late-Night Breakfast events

It has been a whale of a year...so this year, the Center for Student Wellness and Counseling Services (CSWCS) and the Office of Student Services took some favorite campus traditions and made them COVID-approved. While Destress Fest and Late-Night Breakfast could not occur in their usual form, new “to-go” bag option filled with goodies from: juice, granola bars, chips, tea, and hot chocolate to Nate the Walking Whale squishes, Chapstick, magnets, highlighters, techniques for stress management, and so much more, made the two events possible.

Both events are two NEOMED traditions for students as a way for them to relax and unwind prior to and during their final exams. These events offer an opportunity for students to take care of their mental, physical, and emotional health.

Students registered in advance for a pick-up date and time so they could take their bag with them and enjoy in the comfort of their own home; a safer alternative to destressing during COVID physical distancing restrictions.

If you are a student that did not have the opportunity to sign up for a bag, extras can be obtained on a first-come, first-served basis in the CSWCS or Office of Student Services, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, while supplies last. Please remember to practice six-foot physical distancing when visiting these offices to pick up your bag.
