UH Training Opportunities Announced

A partnership with University Hospitals has increased clinical rotation opportunities for NEOMED medicine students.

Up to 24 third-year students from the College of Medicine will perform their clinical rotations at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center and several community medical centers each year, according to plans announced by UH and NEOMED Monday, March 15.

The University has other partnerships in Cleveland, but this is the first commitment of this size from a clinical partner in Cleveland.

In addition to the Rootstown campus, the University maintains offices at 2112 Euclid Avenue in Cleveland. NEOMED’s strategic plan includes increasing the number of Black and Latinx students enrolled in medical degree programs, as well as forging collaborations to bring positive change to issues related to the social determinants of health.
