As colleges and universities re-open for the fall semester, NEOMED wants to keep its students informed about the latest COVID-19 news around the country. What are scientists saying about how to keep safe? How are students reacting to the latest safety requirements?

Here’s one recent report.

The Columbus Dispatch reported Tuesday, Aug. 25, that 80 students and 12 employees at The Ohio State University had tested positive for COVID-19. The article noted that the university had issued 228 interim suspensions over the weekend to those who had not followed its health and safety guidance. 

Ohio State is conducting classes through a mix of virtual and in-person settings.
