Update on Campus Storm Damage

Several departments across campus along with various vendors have been working to repair equipment and systems damaged by a storm that swept through Rootstown earlier this month.

  • The fire alarm system in buildings 1 and 3 of The Village has been repaired and is working correctly.
  • Access control in The Village buildings has been repaired. All cameras were damaged and are not operational. We are evaluating next steps to work towards replacing these cameras.
  • Parking lot lighting in The Village has been repaired.
  • The parking lot emergency phones in lots A, P, and buildings 2 and 3 at The Village were damaged but have all been repaired.

We appreciate your patience while we worked to repair these issues.
