Voluntary Separation Plan Provides Unique Opportunity

During the most recent campus update meeting, the approval of the Voluntary Separation Plan (VSP) program was announced. A detailed summary of the program has now been made available by the Office of Human Resources. Though only administrative and classified staff with 10 or more years of continuous service are eligible, the voluntary program presents some unique opportunities.

Please see below for a letter issued by Barbara Tobias.

To All Administrative and Classified Staff:

As one of several proactive strategies to realign the University’s operations and reduce expenses, President Gershen and the Leadership Team have approved the implementation of a voluntary separation plan for administrative and classified staff.

This program is open to full-time administrative and classified employees with ten (10) or more years of continuous service at NEOMED.

The linked documents provide further details about eligibility requirements, notice of participation dates, and details of financial incentives and payments.  Select Summary and FAQs to view the documents and learn more.

Eligible administrative and classified staff will receive individual letters and related documents regarding next steps. This correspondence will also include guidance on upcoming informational meetings and individual counseling sessions. Please know that participation in this program is completely voluntary.

As always, please contact HR at HRoffice@neomed.edu or 330-325-6729 if you have questions or need any assistance.

Sincerely,

Barbara Tobias, SPHR
Director, Human Resources
