Hi, everyone!
My name is Nupur Goel and I am a current second-year medical student. I am so excited to announce that we will be hosting the first ever TEDxNEOMED event this year! Through the American Medical Association, students and faculty alike will have the opportunity to give their own TED talk. The event will be held in late March or April (Date TBD) and your talk will be published to the OFFICIAL TED YouTube page!
This year's theme is "The Call to Heal: Healing Ourselves, Our Neighbors, and Our World." While healing is traditionally associated with the medical profession, it can also refer to amending aspects of our own lives, the lives of those around us, and our societal institutions. This is your chance to be visionary, bold, and creative. It is time for you to own the TED stage!
If you are interested in speaking, please take a moment to fill out the speaker application.
The application is due Friday, Oct. 2 at 11:59 p.m.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to reading your ideas and, hopefully, working with you to bring them to life!
