Wasson Center on the Move

Now you see it, now you don’t.

You may have noticed the recent disappearance of the exterior sign for the Wasson Center for Clinical Skills Training, Assessment and Scholarship.

That’s because the center is transitioning to its new home in the NEW Center, where the Medical Office Building is on the way.

The Wasson Center and Interprofessional Education Services (IPES) continues to offer remote online services and limited on-site services in its new location on the second floor of the Medical Office Building as it looks ahead to a full opening in Fall 2021.

Holly Gerzina, Ph.D., senior executive director of the Wasson Center, said, “We look forward to welcoming students, faculty, and staff to experience the state-of-the-art simulation services, including simulated patients (SPs), task trainers and manikins, IPE team training, and tele-SP health care training.”

Watch The Pulse for updates on the transition as the Wasson Center settles into its new digs.
