We are excited to announce that Jena James joined the College of Medicine as a curriculum coordinator Feb. 18. Jena is at the NEOMED Cleveland academic site on Tuesdays and Thursdays coordinating curricular events and supporting the Urban Primary Care Pathway. On Monday, Wednesday and Friday she is on the Rootstown campus creating and maintaining the PCM clinical site schedules and co-coordinating several courses, such as Health Systems and Communities and Human Values in Medicine.
Jena holds a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration and a bachelor’s degree in Education with a specialization in English. Her success as a graduate assistant at Kent State University and as an administrator at SCORE Akron provided her with a wealth of knowledge and skills that will enhance our COM administrative team.
