Campus Update for Dec. 4
President John Langell shared news from across the University at the final Campus Update of 2023, held on Dec. 4 via Zoom.
A few highlights include:
- NEOMED was awarded status as a Collegiate Purple Star institution. The designation indicates the University’s commitment to providing a high level of support for students with military backgrounds.
- 19 NEOMED-affiliated scientists were recognized among the top 2% most-cited in a recent data report.
- The Bitonte College of Dentistry continues to move forward. The College received approval from the Ohio Department of Higher Education. The Higher Learning Commission will conduct a site visit on Dec. 11-12. A site visit from the Commission on Dental Accreditation has been scheduled for April 4-5, 2024.
