Free virtual Mental Health First Aid training opportunity
Mental Health First Aid is an early intervention public education program. The Mental Health First Aid for Higher Education course builds upon the effectiveness of the standard Mental Health First Aid curriculum by focusing on the unique experiences and needs of individuals in higher education settings.
The next available Mental Health First Aid training will be held virtually on Thursday, April 30, 2026.
This training is free, but space is limited. Registration closes on April 27th, 2026, at 5:00pm.
Participants will learn to:
- Recognize signs and symptoms of a potential mental health challenge
- Listen nonjudgmentally
- Give reassurance
- Refer a person to appropriate professional support and services
