The Youngstown Blue Coats will bring their Blue Bus to NEOMED on Friday, March 31, 2023 to collect donations for homeless veterans in our area. They will be accepting cash donations, and new or gently used coats, winter hats, blankets, tarps, tents, gloves, sleeping bags, boots, mittens and new socks for distribution to homeless veterans.
The Blue Bus will be parked in front of the NEW Center, with collection of donations taking place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The collection drive is part of the kickoff to Public Health Week, which will include speaker Joe Sepesy, author of Once We Flew: The Memoir of a U.S. Army Helicopter Pilot in Vietnam and a Life with PTSD at noon, Friday, March 31 in the Watanakunakorn Auditorium.
