The Bio-Med Science Academy senior is excited to be starting as an intern for NEOMED’s Office of Public Relations and Marketing, where she’ll work for the 2016-2017 school year.

In response to the national opioid epidemic, we will be presenting a series of articles asking this question: How are medicine and pharmacy students at NEOMED being taught to deal with this huge community and societal problem?

M.D. candidate Julie (Yajie) was selected to spend the 2016-17 year in the prestigious Medical Research Scholars Program at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland.

This year, seven Chinese students will be enrolled as non-credit-earning students who will receive a certificate of attendance at the end of the academic year.
